 Between the city Ahlten and the railway line was a big heavy (double) flak battery positioned. These units were the 3rd and 6th battery of the flak- battalion 801 (3. und 6. Batterie der Flakabteilung 801). The smoke on the right side (photo) is from the deurag/nerag dummy ("Scheinanlage"). The real target was a bit away from that location (not shown on that photo).
