This is the 486th memorial at the museum located at Barksdale AFB, CA. The propeller belonged to #137 which crashed near Station 174 on October 15, 1944 severely injuring LT Herrmann and killing his crew and Roger M. Smith. Mr. Smith was a resident at a farm where the aircraft crashed. (submitted by Bob Cross)
