| Following Germany's surrender, the 486th flew a series of flights to take ground personnel on a tour of Germany. These flights were meant to show the support personnel the damage wrought by the bombing campaign. The map above shows a route used on one of these flights. (reprinted from the O&W N/L Spring 95) |
