This aircraft (3R:194:N) flew her last sortie with the 486th on October 5 1944, and was flown by the Gerhardt crew. She suffered major battle damage before reaching the target, which was the air field at Münster/Handorf. If salvageable, she was sent to the repair center in England. She may have been transferred to another Group upon completions of repairs. (USAAF photo)
