Search tips

When searching on names there is one thing to keep in mind: If there is a way to misspell the name, it has been done. The clerks often misspelled "unique" names, and common ones weren't immune. Moreover, aged documents could be difficult to read. If you did not get the results you expected, try alternate spellings.

Common names will return too many results. Try a combination of first name or initial. You can use Google's "Search within results" to narrow down the selection.

Add the string "loading lists" to search combat flight records.
